Dr. Lawrence V. McCrobie, KHS
Blazon: Azure a bend sinister Or charged with two ravens combatant respectant Sable between in chief a harp Or strung Argent and in base a stag antler.
Crest: Out of a wreath of the colors an open book bound Murrey
Motto: Nolite Tmere- Be Not Afriad
Symbolic Meaning of the Arms: The colors of the shield are taken from the arms of Pope St. John Paul II. The bend sinister evokes a deacon's stole in honor of St. Lawrence (Baptismal and Confirmation name). The two ravens, associated with St, Meinrad, reflect the armiger's membership in that community and his status as a second son. The harp has a double symbolism: Ireland and music. The stag antler stands for the Scottish Clan Keith. The armiger is a Defender of
the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem. The crest symbolizes his academic interests and achievements.
